Julio Graham

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

I build React and TypeScript applications and the GraphQL, Java and C#/.NET services behind them, most recently at Visionaire Partners, Path Robotics and Amazon Web Services. Claude Code and Cursor run through every day of my work, and they changed how much I ship: scaffolding, refactors, test suites and documentation that used to take days now land in an afternoon. The quality goes up with the speed, because every change runs through checks I built and a review I own.

Verification loops

Every change Claude or Cursor drafts goes through the same loop: type checks, lint, unit and integration tests, then my read of the diff. The agent iterates against failing tests until they pass, so faster output still has to prove it works before it merges.

Harness engineering

I build the environment the agents work in: project rules and context files, MCP servers that expose real tools and data, scripted build and test commands, and limits on what they can change. I've also prototyped multi-step, tool-using agents with OpenAI Swarm and the Agents SDK, evaluation included.

Ownership

I own the architecture, the API contracts and the final call on every merge. The codebase stays consistent with its own conventions, and I can explain any line in it, whoever typed it first.

  • Develop full-stack web applications in React and TypeScript across the full donor-advised fund lifecycle: fund creation, contributions, grant recommendations, and ongoing fund management.
  • Integrate React clients with the federated graph through Apollo Client, using normalized caching, code-generated TypeScript types, and tuned queries to keep apps fast and type-safe end to end.
  • Work with relational SQL databases and Azure services on an 8-person scrum team, one of seven coordinated agile teams, through code reviews and cross-team collaboration.

  • Designed and delivered React and TypeScript interfaces for autonomous robotic HMI systems, turning complex hardware workflows into production-grade UIs.
  • Built Redux Toolkit and RTK Query state management that integrated C#/.NET services into data-intensive, real-time interfaces.

I spend as much care on entity models, authorization, validation, API contracts and rollback plans as on the interface. I've built internal tools for approvals, finance and operations, and I own projects from requirements through production support.

AI tools changed how I work. Claude Code drafts, refactors and tests alongside me, and I review and verify everything before it reaches production.
